German magazine presents Turkey as Christian country

Well-known German magazine Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) while preparing world religion map presented Turkey as a Christian country, Turkish-based Armenian Agos newspaper reports.

The countries the majority of the population of which are Muslims, have been presented in green color, those having mostly Christian population in red, the others in other colors.
Turkey has appeared among the Christian countries being colored in red.

Nikhet Kirvan, chairman of the Turkish Council of Munich stated that the mistake by such authoritative magazine is strange and upsetting.

The representatives of the magazine have already released a statement, saying they have not noticed the mistake earlier and promised to correct it.
