Serzh Sargsyan extends birthday greetings to prominent Armenian filmmaker

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has congratulated the prominent film director and the people’s artist, Artavazd Peleshyan, on the 75th anniversary of his birthday.

In his address to the merited filmmaker, the president praises his creative talent, considering it a big contribution to the Armenian and world cinema art.

“The Armenian nation is justifiably proud of you. Your works, from the very first steps, became a phenomenon for not only the Armenian, but also the world cinema art. You are among the greatest 20th century cinema masters and theorists,” says the president, wishing Peleshyan a long life and more creative achievements.
