President extends birthday greetings to merited actress

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has delivered his birthday wishes to Varduhi Varderesyan, one of the outstanding Armenian stage and cinema masters, who turns 85 today.

In his address, the president praises the actress’ high talent, noting that many of her roles are considered classical samples for both the audience and specialists.

“I am happy that you keep living with the problems of our cultural life and the ideas of our mother theatre. You keep enjoying our nation’s love and respect, bearing the title of Armenian and USSR People’s Artist.

Congratulating you on the significant anniversary again, I wish you health and inexhaustible energy,” reads the address.
