Caucasian film festival wraps up in Georgia’s Tbilisi

The Caucasian film festival ended in Tbilisi, Georgian Online reports. The audience evaluated the films presented from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russia.

At the closing ceremony the guests were presented Mikhail Kalatozov’s “Svaneti Salt” documentary film. Kalatozov shot this film still in 1930 but it has been presented to Georgia’s audience only now.

Festival’s coordinator Tinati Lagidze said the goal of the event is to present art without borders.

The event was conducted in Tbilisi Literature Museum. The festival has been created to support film directors and actors.
