International Jazz Day celebrated in Yerevan

On the initiative of the Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan International Jazz Day is being celebrated in the capital for already the second year, Yerevan Municipality press service reports.

Hundreds of jazz lovers gathered in Cascade complex where an open air concert was conducted.

Yerevan mayor too attended the event. For the noticeable contribution to the cultural life and for the contribution to the development of jazz art the mayor awarded Armenian honorary art figures Armen Hyusnunts, Armen Tutunjyan and Vahagn Hayrapetyan with the honorary culture figure of Yerevan city order.

Yerevan mayor said the weather conditions already allow conducting open air concerts.
