Aram Khachaturyan’s 110th birthday anniversary marked in St. Petersburg

A concert dedicated to the 110th birthday anniversary of renown Armenian composer Aram Khachaturyan was conducted in St. Petersburg, Russia, in the big concert hall of D. Shostakovich Academic Philharmonic on May 1.

Armenia’s Foreign Ministry press service reports that the event was conducted on the initiative of the Armenian chief consulate.

Consul general Vardan Hakobyan has delivered opening remarkes.

Diplomats accredited in St. Petersburg attended the event.
