Denmark to host Eurovision 2014 (video)

Representative of Denmark Emmelie de Forest became the winner of the Eurovision 2013 song contest with Only Teardrops song. The second came Azerbaijan, followed by Ukraine. Despite the wonderful performance Armenia appeared on the 18th place.

This year 26 countries participated in the final - France, Lithuania, Moldova, Finland, Spain, Belgium, Estonia, Belarus, Malta, Russia, Germany, Armenia, the Netherlands, Romania, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Hungary, Denmark, Iceland, Azerbaijan, Greece, the Ukraine, Italy, Norway, Gerogia and Ireland.

The Armenian rock band Dorians, with its song Lonely Planet (written by Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi), has perfomed at number 12 at this year's contest.

Armenia did not get the highest 12 points, it received ten points from Georgia and eight from Bulgaria.

Our country gave it 12 points to Ukraine, ten points to Georgia and 8 points to Greece, seven points to Russia.

Russia gave its 12 points to Azerbaijan, Georgia too, while Azerbaijan gave its 12 points to Ukraine. Russia gave Armenia only 2 points.

The winner Denmark will host Eurovision 2014 song contest.
