Armenian writer Vrezh Israelyan to be buried in Ashnak village

The well-known playwright and prose writer Vrezh Israelyan, who died on Friday, will lie in state at the Writers’ Union of Armenia on June 15.
 
Vrezh Israelyan will be buried in the village of Ashnak on June 16.

Talking to Tert.am, Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Armenia Levon Ananyan said that he, Director of the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran) Hrach Tamazyan and Armenia’s Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan intended to discuss the issue of burying Vrezh Israelyan at the writers’ pantheon.
