Ryan Boatright leaves Armenian basketball team

The Armenian basketball team is closing the chapter with Ryan Boatright.

Head Coach Niksha Bavchevich told a news conference in Yerevan that the American is leaving them permanently. He cited the sportsman's behavior and attitude as a reason behind their decision.

The coach said Boatright had special demands for dwelling and food, adding that the Basketball Federation of Armenia also shared their position.

Boatright earlier played for Red Star Belgrade; he now represents Turkey's Beshiktash.  

Armenia is to play a host match with Albania's select team on Sunday.
