‘We are on the brink of a gorge’: Prosperous Armenia leader unveils agenda of big public rally

The leader of the Prosperous Armenia party (PAP) on Wednesday reaffirmed his criticism of the current government, blasting the incumbent officials for inability to handle the existing problems.

At a meeting with the PAP members in Yerevan’s Nor Nork administrative district, Gagik Tsarukyan also announced the agenda of an upcoming big rally expected to bring together partners from the Fatherland party and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaksutyun (ARF-D).

“We are holding a rally; it’s not a call for a battle. We are on the brink of a gorge as half [of the population] will leave once the borders open. They [the authorities] are obliged today to think about the people and properly handle the budgetary expenditures,” he said, blaming the government also for inexperience and a negligent attitude.
