Hayk Vardanyan will head the "Alternative" bloc faction in the Moldovan parliament

The "Alternative" opposition bloc of the Moldovan parliament, which presents itself as pro-European, is headed by Hayk Vardanyan, Olga Ursu became the vice president, and Liliana Yaconi became the secretary.

Previously, Vardanyan was the head of the Armenian community of the country. In the spring of this year, he initiated the bill recognizing the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire in the parliament.

It was reported earlier that three political parties, including the party of President Maia Sandu, and two electoral blocs entered the Moldovan parliament.
