We will not achieve true peace by entering into distorted friendships with Azerbaijan and Turkey, nor will we feel secure in the region by plotting against the Russia. Samvel Karapetyan

I welcome the annual activity report of the movement. Together with you, I am proud of the enormous and important work accomplished in such a short period of time, just four months. This is stated in the message sent by Samvel Karapetyan, the ideological leader of the "Mer dzevov" ("In Our Way") movement, to the activity report. It was read by attorney Aram Vardevanyan.

"Our activities are also the focus of attention in the foreign press and think tanks studying and covering Armenia. It would be difficult to find a sober-minded in our country who harbors any hope for a bright future for the Republic of Armenia and who would not mention our movement in this context. This is a very impressive achievement, the achievement gained by you and our supporters. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dear colleagues, we are forming a fundamentally new political force and new leadership. The reason is simple: we have our own vision of a strong Armenia, and we can realize it. We are building a strong team, and this team will consist of professionals devoted to Armenia, those who honestly and selflessly unite around just and noble goals. I have said many times that our most important mission is not to disappoint the people. People place hopes in our work—hopes connected with the well-being of their families, their health, the security of the country, and their national dignity. We have no right to disappoint them.

Today we tell everyone that Armenia is not weak, it simply has weak leadership.

I recently stated that by forging distorted friendships with Azerbaijan and Turkey, we will not achieve true peace. By plotting against Russia, we will not feel secure in the region. By ignoring the vital interests of Iran and Georgia, we will have no friends in difficult times.

Our peoples have long forgotten how to solve their problems by maintaining good relations. Therefore, we will act like this: we will not deny anything, but will resolve issues peacefully and professionally, to our advantage. Justice is the dream of every Armenian, and we will establish this justice in our country, proving that it is possible. We will leave behind the governmental, judicial, banking, and administrative "lawlessness." This is what our compatriots want; I say this as a person who knows our people well. So, without any hesitation, we confidently move toward the new year of 2026, which should mark the beginning of the rebirth of the Armenian people. We will win our way and build a strong Armenia," Samvel Karapetyan said in his address.
