Grigorovich staging new "Spartak" in Yerevan

Yuri Grigorovich has temporarily moved to Yerevan. The choreographer is staging a new "Spartak" in the homeland of the composer Aram Khachaturyan. The opening is scheduled for the beginning of May.

All the artists of the ballet company, about 80 people, are engaged in the performance. 250 artists are engaged in "Spartak" performance in the Bolshoy Theatre, hence, in Armenia, many of the artists would have to play several roles.
