For the fourth consecutive year, Ucom is serving as a Platinum Partner of the Silicon Mountains technology summit, supporting the development of Armenia’s technology ecosystem, fostering innovation, and expanding international cooperation.
Silicon Mountains Summit & Expo 2026, taking place on November 3–4 at Dvin Music Hall in Yerevan, will be held under the theme “Invest in Innovation.” The summit will bring together executives from international technology companies, industry experts, investors, startups, and representatives of government and educational institutions to discuss innovation financing, technological development, and expanding investment opportunities.
For the first time, Silicon Mountains will take place over two days, featuring an international summit, a technology exhibition, and the International Microelectronics Forum. The program includes presentations by international experts, panel discussions, practical workshops, and B2B meetings. The startup exhibition, running throughout both days, will offer innovative projects an opportunity to showcase their solutions and establish connections with potential partners and investors.
The summit’s special guest is Kam Ghaffarian, an entrepreneur in the space and energy technology sectors and the recipient of Armenia’s 2026 State Award for Global Contribution to Information Technology. Detailed information about the distinguished international speakers is available at silicon-mountains.org.
“Technological progress requires not only the adoption of advanced solutions but also continuous investment in knowledge, human capital, and collaboration. For Ucom, our partnership with Silicon Mountains is an opportunity to support an environment where international expertise, innovative ideas, and business needs come together on one platform. We value initiatives that contribute to the development of Armenia’s technological potential and create new opportunities for both industry professionals and businesses,” said Ralph Yirikian, General Director of Ucom.
This year’s summit agenda places particular emphasis on discussions about investment opportunities in startups, women’s leadership in the technology sector, and the practical application of innovative ideas. The International Microelectronics Forum will also take place on the second day of the event.
“This year, Silicon Mountains 2026 serves as a meeting place for technology industry leaders, bringing together innovators, investors, and international partners around Armenia’s technological future. At the heart of the ‘Invest in Innovation’ theme lies a clear question about Armenia’s future: what steps must we take today to turn Armenia’s potential into tangible achievements tomorrow? It is our shared responsibility to make that journey possible — from idea to product, from research to market,” said Eduard Musayelyan, Executive Director of the Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies.
The summit also featured an official cancellation ceremony for a two-sided postage stamp dedicated to “Silicon Mountains 2026,” attended by Ralph Yirikian, General Director of Ucom. The ceremony, organized at the initiative of HayPost CJSC, also brought together representatives of government institutions and the technology sector.
Organized by the Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies since 2019, Silicon Mountains contributes to the development of Armenia’s technology sector, knowledge exchange, and the establishment of international partnerships.
Ucom continues to support initiatives focused on technology education, innovation, and digital transformation, contributing to the development of Armenia’s technological potential and strengthening its international competitiveness.
