Armenian photographer wins highest prize in Czech Republic

"A Minute of Dream," a photo shot by Armenian photographer Ashot Poghosyan, was awarded with the main prize at the international photo competition "Peace Moments" held on September 21 in the Czech Republic.

The photo won the prize in the "People" nomination.

The contest was dedicated to the World Peace Day and was organized by the International Centre for Informational Peace.

Ruben Baghdishyan, an Armenian photographer, told Tert.am, that a total of 2594 photos from 34 countries pretended to the prize.

Ashot Poghosyan was born in 1989 and started shooting photos since his early teens. So far, he has attended a series of inflectional international photo contests, including the World Press Photo and World Photo View.
