Who are the winners of Chopin Competition of Young Pianists in Armenia?

As part of the celebrations of the 200th birthday of outstanding Pole composer Frederic Chopin the Embassy of the Republic in Poland in Yerevan organized from November 1-11, 2010, a contest titled Chopin Competition of Young Pianists, according to a release by Poland's Embassy to Armenia.

Armenia's First Lady Rita Sargsyan gave her consent to take the celebrations under Her high patronage.

The co-organizers of all events are: The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia and The Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.

One of the most attractive events of the Year was the Chopin Competition of Young Pianists of Armenia to have been organized for the first time in this country. 12 talented young artists participated in the competition whose results were announced on 9 November 2010.

Here there are the laureates of the competition:

First Prize winner Mr. Zhora Sargsyan
Second Prize winner Miss Sona Barsegyan
Two Third Prize winners (ex aequo): Miss Syuzanna Marutyan and Miss Marianna Uzankichyan
