Yerevan to celebrate composer Robert Petrosyan's 80th anniversary

A jubilee evening dedicated to the 80th birthday of great composer, USSR and republican award winner and honored member of Armenian choir association Robert Petrosyan will be held on December 19 in Aram Kachatryan Concert Hall.

The event is sponsored by the Armenian Ministry of Culture.

The concert program includes performances by the trumpet ensemble (director: John Sargsyan), Arega chamber choir (artistic director and choir master: Gayane Baghdasaryan), the violin players ensemble from Sayat Nova musical school, Armenian young singers' choir (artistic director and conductor: Tigran Hekekyan), Armenian Public Television's Arevik ensemble (artistic director: Armen Gevorgyan) and the variety-symphonic orchestra of Armenian Public Television and Radio Company (artistic director and chief conductor: Yervand Yerznkyan).
