Emmy meets fans and media before leaving for Germany

Armenia’s participant to the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 held a meeting with journalists and fans at the main shop of Armenia’s mobile operator Orange on Friday.

Emmy’s meeting with the public came as the last one before she will leave for Dusseldorf, Germany, on Saturday to start participating in the rehearsals and preparations.

“We are proud of having the chance to support this pan-European holiday in Armenia for the second time now,” said Orange Marketing Director Aram Mkrtchyan. “This is a very important contest that allows talented performers become known all over Europe.”

The company had prepared a surprise for an Armenian activist of Eurovision voting named Mariam Alexanyan: she received a ticket to the Eurovision final concert.

Orange will also organize a concert on the day of the Eurovision final (May 14) in Yerevan and Armenia. The concert will bring together Armenian singers, including former Eurovision participants.

Emmy’s Boom-Boom, the song she will sing at the contest, is already available at Orange’s various platforms.
