Out of My Mind presentation takes place in Yerevan

Yerevan hosted the world premiere of a new album of WhoCares super group by Yan Gilan, the soloist of Deep Purple rock band, and Tony Iommi, the guitarist of Black Sabbath.

The premiere took place in the framework of the project “Rock Helps Armenia”.

The new album will be available on CDs. Fans can also download it from the world’s leading online shops.

The album includes two songs – Out of My Mind and Holy Water. The video clip of the Out of My Mind was also screened at the presentation.

Out of My Mind was recorded in October 2010 at London’s Sorm Studios.

Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, said to be a lover of rock, also attended the presentation.

“I am very glad that the cooperation continues. Even more the program is getting a new continuation,” said Sargsyan.

Tigran Sargsyan also said that as of now all the rock bands that will give concerts in Armenia will join under the “Rock Helps Armenia” initiative and will give a great concert in 2015 dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Bruno Dutois, Chief Executive Officer of Orange Armenia mobile operator, said that the company allocates 15,000 euros for the renovation of #6 Music School in Armenia’s quake-hit city of Gyumri’s.

The WhoCares CD has a 40-minute-long documentary dedicated to Gyumri’s #6 Music School.

All the proceeds from the sale will be given to the school.
