Armenia prepares for European Museum Night events

All the museums in Armenia will be open to public on Saturday evening as part of the European Museum Night.

This is Armenia's seventh participation in the annual event organized across the countries in Europe.

The museums will offer a unique program to the visitors.

An exhibition dedicated to early 20th century talented Armenian painter Martiros Saryan will be organized in the house museum of the artist. The event will be followed by a chamber concert.

The house-museum of Armenian novelist and poet Derenik Demirchyan will host a ceremony featuring the writer's thoughts in postcards. Visitors will also have the chance to watch a puppet performance.

The Yerevan History Museum will organize the screening of film series in the frameworks of a cultural program titled "Our Memories' Waltz".

The Armenian National Art Gallery will display expositions from its permanent and temporary collections.

The visitors to the Yerevan Pantomime Museum will be offered to watch various performances, as well as animation films.
The house museum of Aram Khachaturyan will organize lessons of waltz with the participation of choreographer from Barekamutyun dance ensemble. Speghani choir will later perform a concert.

The Russian Art Museum will feature new expositions from its collections.

Cafesjian Center for the Arts will open an exhibition featuring the works of Philip Hakobyan. Later in the day, visitors will listen to a chamber concert.

The Museum Night events will kick off at 6:00 pm and run through midnight.
