YSU digitalizes archives on Armenian studies

The Institute of Research in Armenian Studies at the Yerevan State University is digitalizing researches in Armenian studies and making them available online.

In a statement released by the institute, it said it will hold on June 14 the presentation of 49 books, methodical manuals, translations, 149 articles, more then 200 maps worked out by the scientists of the institute from 2008-2011, as well as its website at www.armin.am.

The statement further said that the work done is continuously being presented on the institute’s website, adding that 55 books, 25 articles, 104 maps are already published on the website.

“The modern scanners obtained will give an impetus to the digitalization process, ensuring high quality and efficiency,” read the statement.

The Institute of Research in Armenian Studies at the Yerevan State University was founded in 2008 and has eight sub-divisions.
