Marten Yorgantz starts concert tour in Armenia

Ahead of the 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence, world-renowned French-Armenian singer Marten Yorgantz is starting a concert tour in the country.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, he said he is dedicating his new concert series to the children in Armenia's regions.

The singer is going to give four concerts in Armenia. His first concert is scheduled in the resort town of Aghveran later today. On August 27, Yorgantz will travel to Tavush region to sing for the children of the town of Berd. On September 1, he will have two concerts. At 10:00 am in the morning he will sing in Gavar town (Gegharkunik region). Later in the day, he will give a concert in Hrazdan (Kotayk region).
