99 PLEASANT photo exhibition to be held in Yerevan

The 99 PLEASANT exhibition of photos by the film producer Zhirair Aghavelyan is to be opened at the Arts Union of Armenia.

The author's photos and photo collages will be displayed. A slide film of art and documentary photos and photo collages will he demonstrated on the margins of the exhibition. Zhirair Aghvelyan composed music for one of them, Jupiter.

The Armenian producer, who is residing in the United States now, has dedicated his exhibition to the 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence. The exhibition will last until Sept. 17.

Zhirair Aghvelyan graduated from the cinema Department, University of Culture. He is author of about ten semidocumentaries, including the winners of international festivals: Vardananak, Stone Symphony, Lavash, Who is Levon Ghazaryan, Everlasting Wanderer and others.
