Cesaria Evora's Yerevan concert cancelled

World-famous singer Cesaria Evora's scheduled concert in Yerevan has been cancelled.

Speaking to Tert.am, Sona Hovhannisyan, the general manager of the Yerevan Perspectives project, said the reports about the singer's health problems have been confirmed. She is said to be suffering from cerebral stroke and unable to return to the big stage.

Hovhannisyan added that all the tickets will be reimbursed.

It is noteworthy that the tickets for Evora's concert, set for September 29, were sold out as early as a few days ago.

The festival's general manager said their agreement with Chronograph company may remain valid to allow them to organize a concert, replacing the singer.
