Sao Paolo hosts Parajanov Exhibition

An exhibition featuring the masterpieces of renowned Armenian film director Sergey Parajanov was held in Sao Paolo, Barzil on Saturday.

The event, organized in the frameworks of the Sao Paolo 35th International Film Festival, was attended by Brazilian Ambassador to Armenia Ashot Yeghiazaryan, representatives from regional and municipal administration,s intellectuals, local Armenians, and journalists.

The showcased items included exhibits of applied art, including films, as well as documentaries about the great artist.

Parajanov Museum Director Zaven Sargsyan's photos telling about Armenia were also on display.

The event got a wide coverage by the Brazilian media outlets which considered the exhibition of the Armenian filmmaker's works the most important cultural event of the month.
