Hugh Grant has become a father for the first time.

The Bridget Jones actor welcomed a baby daughter early last month but the identity of the mother has yet to be revealed, according to the Daily Mail.

'He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive," Hugh's publicist told the paper.
