Armenian representation in Strasburg holds jazz concert

Armenia’s permanent representation to the Council of Europe held on Tuesday a jazz concert in Strasburg as part of the series of the cultural events scheduled for the period of Armenia’s presidency of the CoE Committee of Ministers.

The world-renowned Armenian pianist, Tigran Hamasyan, performed at the event organized by the assistance of the Strasburg municipality.


Armenia’s permanent representative, Ambassador Armen Papikyan delivered an opening speech at the beginning.

The concert was attended by ambassadors accredited to CoE member states, representatives of the Council’s Secretariat, municipal officials, as well as members of the local Armenian community. The organizers later gave a reception.
