Comedy Club mourns Armenian showman’s death

The actors of Comedy Club have offered their condolences over the untimely death of Mark Saghatelyan, the popular showman and TV anchor, who for many years entertained the Armenian public through different comedy shows and broadcasts.

“Mark’s untimely and sudden death came as a deep grief to us. It is hard to compose eulogy on a man, who - 20 years ago - taught many of us to compose humor and think creatively, work on a professional stage, imitate and show sparkling wit in sharp and rapid improvisations … let us be brief and meaningful as it would fit you, Mark. You left a deep and unique trace in the extremely complicated world of the Russian-language humor and satire. Generations will remember you far and far beyond the borders of Armenia … May God rest your soul in peace …” reads the address.
