Yerevan hosts funeral of merited actor (photos)

A ceremony of final farewell to merited Armenian actor Azat Gasparyan was held Monday afternoon at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theatre.

The actor died on Friday at age 70.

Gasparyan was a laureate of the Soviet Armenian state award. In 2005, he was nominated as an honorable resident of Yerevan. In 2011, the actor was honored with the Movses Khorenatsi medal.
