Antitatron to represent Gyumri at Hayfest international festival

The Gyumri-based youth Antitatron (Anti-theater) will perform the play 'Give me you offspring' during the Hayfest international theater festival.
 
Director Varduhi Grigoryan told Tert.am that the play was performed during the ‘X’ festival. The play received favorable responses, which inspired the young director to apply for performing at the international festival.

“I have sent a video of the play to the festival board and I am happy I have been selected, especially since I am well aware of the board’s strict approach this year,” Grigoryan said.

The performance is a thinking strategy. It is the director’s attempt to show woman’s triple identity. The director Ivan Viripayev staged the play a few years ago.

The Hayfest international theater festival, which is to last October 1 to 12, is the 11th festival. Twenty-three companies from Armenia and other countries are participating. The Edinburg-based 1927 theatre company will open the festival.
