Travel guide on Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh presented in Canada

The third edition of the travel guide, Armenia and Karabakh: The Stone Garden, was presented at the Armenian Embassy to Canada on Saturday, November 23.

The book has been compiled by Mathew Karanian, the author of the first Armenian travel guide, who works as a practicing lawyer in the US State of California. From 2002 until 2006, Karanian was a professor of law at the American University of Armenia.

In an opening speech, Armenian Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganyan highlighted the importance of the English language comprehensive guidebook, reports the Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service. Karanian later delivered a lecture, introducing in the meantime photos featuring most different corners of Armenia.

The event was attended by Head of the Canada-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group Harold Albrecht, as well as diplomats and Armenian community members.

Karanian had earlier presented his guidebook in the cities of Montreal and Toronto.
