‘The Stamp of Loneliness’ preaches homosexuality in Armenia – opinion

An Armenian public and political figure has voiced his strong criticism against ‘The Stamp of Loneliness’, a book which he said aims to preach homosexuality in Armenia.

“The book was presented about two months ago. I have confiscated [the copies]. It is offered for sale for 11,000 Drams ($26.8) in the book-stores,” Khachik Stamboltsyan told a news conference on Thursday.
 

He called for urgent measures to ban the book’s sale, considering it a major evil for the the Armenian society.

‘The Stamp of Happiness”, which has recently appeared on the Armenian market, has been published under the funding of the Open Society Institute. Its editor is the writer and publicist Vahan Ishkhanyan.
