Weather today12th British Film Festival to be held in Armenia
Yerevan’s Moscow cinema will host the opening ceremony of the 12th British Film Festival, at 4:00pm, February 22.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Vice-Ambassador Amyas Morse, Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Culture Nerses Ter-Vardanyan, Director of the Birtish Council in Armenia Arevik Saribekyan and others.
The opening ceremony will begin with Summer in February film. Summer in February is based on Jonathan Smith's novel about love and loss among a bohemian colony of artists which flourished in the wild coastal region of Cornwall, before the First World War.
The 12th British Film Festival will take place from 22 February to 16 March in Yerevan, Goris, Gavar and Gyumri. Admission is free. In Yerevan the British Film Festival will take place from 22 February to 5 March in Moscow and Nairi Cinemas. In Moscow Cinema the films will be accompanied with subtitles (at 17:00 English, at 20:00 with Armenian or Russian subtitles). In Nairi Cinema the films will be accompanied with subtitles as well (16:30 English, 18:30 with Armenian or Russian subtitles).
The 12th British Film Festival has been organized by the British Council, British Embassy Yerevan, Unicef and ArmenTel CJSC (brand Beeline).
