Yerevan pub to screen Nymphomaniac

Nymphomaniac, the controversial Danish drama by Lars von Trier, is going to be presented to a narrow audience in Yerevan.

The 80’s Pub has agreed to screen the movie on March 10 and 12.

Their boss, Hakob Berberyan, says visitors will be required to show passports before entering the pub, as the target audience is not intended to be below 18. According to him, the film will be screened in a closed hall.

“Ours is mainly a closed pub, so our customers are our friends. We know our vistors, and the screening is for them. Should strangers come to the pub that day, they will hardly manage to watch [the movie]. There will probably be no room, and we will not let them in either,” he told Tert.am.
