Renowned composer Mikael Tariverdiyev’s widow shares impressions about Nagorno-Karabakh

Vera Tariverdiyeva, widow of the renowned Soviet composer Mikael Tariverdiyev, share her impressions of the concerts organized in Nagorno-Karabakh, April 21-25.

Asked if she is concerned over being “blacklisted” by Azerbaijan, she said: “I would feel hurt if I were not.”

With respect to the concert program, Ms Tariverdiyeva said she was happy to accept poet Viktor Konoplyev idea of visiting Nagorno-Karabakh.

“We not only gave different concerts, but also talked teachers and children. They told Tariverdiyev’s biography and performed his music,” Ms Tariverdyeva said.
