Charles Aznavour wishes success to Aram MP3 at Eurovision Song Contest 2014

World-famous singer Charles Aznavour has wished success to Armenian singer Aram MP3 at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.

He hopes that “a hundred years after what happened to us, we can still be present on the international stage.”

Charles Aznavour left the following message on his Facebook page:

“Dear Aram,

“You are going to have the adventure of Eurovision. You seem to be a very good choice to represent Armenia. I am sure, besides Armenia’s population, the Armenian Diaspora worldwide, before television sets, will enthusiastically support you and, as warmly as do women in our country, pray for you, being proud to have a guy from us to represent us at this global event. I wish you the best and would be myself with my family on tenterhooks, crossing our fingers in front of the TV set. We count on you to show that, a hundred years after what happened to us, we can still be present on the international stage.”
