Eurovision 2014: Armenian singer to open semifinals today

Pop singer Aram MP3, who is representing Armenia in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, is going to open the first semifinals later today,

Before the competition, he has left a message in Twitter, wishing success to all the participants. “Good luck today to all the participants especially aarzemnieki Sergej_Cetkovic ! Big party begins just in a few hours,” the singer wrote in his microblog.

His song, Not Alone, has been viewed over 2.6 million times on YouTube, becoming the most popular Eurovision 2014 performance on the video hosting website.

Eurovision 2014, opening in Copenhagen, Denmark on Tuesday evening, brings together participants from 37 state. The second semifinalsis due on Thursday. The final contest is set to take place on Saturday, May 10.
