Renowned actress Svetlana Grigoryan passes away

Renowned comedy actress, People’s Artist of Armenia Svetlana Grigoryan has died, the official website of Armenia’s Theater Union reports.

Svetlana Grigoryan was born on September 30, 1930. For 55 years she played with the legendary Armenian stage actor Karp Khachvankyan. Svetlana Grigoryan played over 100 roles. She was one of the founders of the TV theater in 1956.

After she was invited to the Musical Comedy Theater in 1949, Svetlana Grigoryan revealed her talent and charm and won the audience.

Svetlana Grigoryan also performed in many countries. She presented with numerous awards.
