Armenian president attends opening of exhibition of Polish-Armenian painter Teodor Axentowicz’s works

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Armenia’s First Lady Rita Sargsyan and Poland’s First Lady Anna Komorowska, who is on a working visit to Armenia at Mrs Sargsyan’s invitation, accompanied by Armenian and Polish cultural and art workers, attended on Tuesday the opening of an exhibition of Polish-Armenian painter Teodor Axentowicz’s works at the National Gallery of Armenia.

The exhibition as visited by Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdzisław Raczyński, other foreign ambassadors to Armenia, Mayor of Sopot, Poland, Jacek Karnowski, and Director of the Sopot State Gallery of Arts Zbigniew Buski. Under the Armenian and Polish presidents’ auspices, the exhibition displays 53 of Teodor Axentowicz’s paintings and drawings.
