Altibox Norway Chess: Aronian beats Azerbaijani rival

Armenian chess grandmaster Levon Aronian gained advantage over an Azerbaijani rival in the fourth round of the Norway Chess Classic tournament.

The sportsman celebrated a victory after beating Shakriar Mammadyarov at the 70th move.

He now shares the 3rd-6th positions with Wesley So (US) and Viswanathan Anand (India).

Norway's Magnus Carlsem is the tournament leader.
