Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan are introducing a common tariff for transportation through the Middle Corridor, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov announced during the "Silk Road" conference in Tbilisi.

"Together with international partners, we are developing a unified tariff policy, simplifying customs and border procedures, as well as promoting the development of multimodal transport. This is confirmed by the agreement between railway operators of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan on the introduction of a single long-term tariff along the Middle Corridor," said Asadov.

The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan noted that the "Middle Corridor" has already proven itself as a reliable transport route connecting China and the countries of Central Asia with Europe.
