The United States’ European allies have begun accumulating logistical and other support in the conflict zone around Iran. This was announced by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, who is participating in the 8th European Political Community Summit taking place in Armenia.

“More and more European countries are pre-positioning the necessary logistical and other support, such as demining equipment, near the theater of military operations in order to be ready for the next phase,” he told journalists.

According to the Secretary General, European countries have understood Donald Trump’s message.

“We see that all these countries are now entering into bilateral agreements with the United States, fulfilling their requests regarding deployment at bases and providing all the necessary logistical support,” he said.

Rutte also noted that Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw 5,000 American troops from Germany was a disappointment, in light of the European allies’ stance on Iran.
