Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Georgia's Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili. The information was announced by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

The Prime Minister welcomed the minister's visit to Armenia and emphasized the importance of the steady development of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Armenia and Georgia. According to Nikol Pashinyan, bilateral relations hold considerable potential for cooperation, and reciprocal visits such as this one, along with active high-level contacts, make a significant contribution to unlocking that potential.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of joint programs between the interior ministries of the two countries, particularly in combating crime and illicit drug trafficking, as well as in further strengthening internal security.

Sulkhan Tamazashvili noted that he had held productive discussions with his Armenian counterparts, including on the implementation of joint programs. In his view, these initiatives will provide new momentum for strengthening bilateral ties and help both countries respond more effectively to existing challenges.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on cooperation between the two countries and on future steps in various areas of bilateral collaboration.
