Armenia greatly highlights the importance to the continued development of friendly relations with Canada: Prime Minister Pashinyan's congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of Canada

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the occasion of Canada Day, the Armenian Government's press service reported.

The message reads:

"I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Canada on the occasion of Canada Day.

It was a great honor for me to welcome you to Yerevan in May of this year within the framework of the 8th Summit of the European Political Community. I recall with satisfaction our meeting, which provided an excellent opportunity to discuss the Armenia–Canada cooperation agenda and outline the directions for its further development. I am confident that this positive dialogue will give new momentum to the further deepening of the partnership between Armenia and Canada.

Armenia attaches great importance to the continued development of friendly relations with Canada, based on democracy, human rights, the rule of law, and mutual respect.

I am confident that through our joint efforts we will be able to further expand and strengthen our cooperation in areas of mutual interest for the benefit of our two countries and peoples. I wish you good health and every success, and I wish the friendly people of Canada peace and prosperity."
