Ararat Mirzoyan and Masoud Pezeshkian discussed infrastructure development for unblocking and mutually beneficial cooperation in the energy sector
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan was received by President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.
Following the meeting between the leaders of the two countries in New York, the interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the active agenda of political contacts between Armenia and Iran.
Particular attention was paid to programs aimed at developing infrastructure for unblocking and mutually beneficial cooperation in the energy sector. Minister Mirzoyan presented the progress of the TRIPP project’s implementation.
The interlocutors exchanged views on issues related to regional stability and security.
They also discussed the participation of the Islamic Republic of Iran at a high level in the COP17 conference to be held in Yerevan.
