An exchange of enclaves and exclaves with Azerbaijan is possible. Ararat Mirzoyan has reaffirmed what Nikol Pashinyan said.
“That is, if any part of Armenia’s internationally recognized territory of 29,743 square kilometers is to be transferred to another state and something is to be received in return, you know, this is an issue that requires a nationwide referendum, and that is exactly what will happen. There is no way to avoid it.
One possible solution is for one territory to remain with one side and the other with the other side, or for the territories to be exchanged. Theoretically, there may also be other options, meaning that equivalent territories could be allocated to each other along the border,” he noted.
