Pashinyan and the UNESCO director-general agree to strengthen cooperation in education, science, and culture

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with UNESCO Director-General Khaled El-Enany.

The interlocutors discussed the Leaders’ Summit on Biodiversity currently taking place in Yerevan and expressed confidence that the discussions would be engaging and productive.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of cooperation with UNESCO in preserving and protecting cultural and historical heritage.

The parties agreed to continue active dialogue and cooperation, strengthening interaction between Armenia and UNESCO in the fields of education, science, and culture.
