Armenian pop singer Andre in Istanbul for new music video

Armenian pop singer Andre is said to be preparing a new music video with the Turkish-Armenia singer Sibil.

CNN Turk reports he has left for Istanbul to work on the project.

The scene is an old factory of the city. In the clip, directed by Ozkan Aksular, Andre incarnates water; Sibil is the symbol of fire.

Comparing Andre with the popular Turkish singer Tarkan, the Turkish TV channel’s website reports that he visited the country in the past too and even performed a concert.

“He has many fans in Turkey. Andre represented Armenia in the 2006 Eurovision song contest and received high scores from Turkey,” reads the report.

The new music video is due later this month. It will be broadcast in both Armenia and Turkey.
