Junior Eurovision 2014: Young Armenian singer positive on success

The Armenian participant of Junior Eurovision 2014 is said to be in fighting spirits ahead of the contest.

“Despite feeling cold, Betty continues the rehearsals and trainings; she is doing all her best to show a good performance,” the Public Television’s PR manager, Arusyak Zakaryan, has told the state news agency Armenpress.

The 11-year-old young singer will be representing Armenia with the song "People of the Son".

“Betty is a bright kid, so she will try to do everything not to make anyone feel sad in the hall. She stated about it when giving a press conference back in Yerevan. She will try to impart warmth and smiles to the audience and is hopeful that they will like her performance,” Zakharyan added.

The contest is opening in Malta later today. Betty will be the 12th participant to go on stage.
