Eurovision 2015: Genealogy singers visit Armenia to shoot music video

The singers Geneology, the band representing Armenia in the Eurovision 2015 Song Contest, have visited Armenia for conducting a short trip and shooting a music video, reports the Public Television's website.

The head of Armenia’s delegation, Gohar Gasparyan, has shared new details about the concept of Armenia’s participation, the idea  behind Geneology, its song, Don’t Deny, and the music video.

“What unites our six participants are two basic concepts: first, the blood running through their veins contains the Armenian’s gene, their features and the rich history of Armenia and secondly – the music which also genetically unites them all. We have ‘built a bridge’ between the past and present, between the Armenian genetics and world music, between Armenia and Eurovision.

“This is the geneology of history and music, the life tree which – as seen from the logo – has strong roots and branches stretching upwards; they look like molecules merging together,” she said.

The logo’s author is the Public Television of Armenia.
